Bobbi Kristina Brown, daughter of the late singer-actress, Whitney Houston and singer Bobby Brown, passed away, peacefully in hospice, surrounded by family on Sunday July 26, 2015 at the age of 22 years.
Brown had been found eerily similar to her late mother, nearly 3 years to the day of Houston’s death. Houston had died in a bathtub February 11, 2012, said to be an “accidental drowning” due to a heart attack and often said to be the result of abuse of drugs and alcohol. On January 31, 2015, Bobbi Kristina was found face down, un-responsive in a bathtub in her townhouse and resuscitated then, placed in a medically induced coma.
Both of Brown’s famous parents Bobby Brown and Whitney Houston struggled with both drug and alcohol addictions and it has been an alleged suspicion that Bobbi, herself, also had been struggling with a drug issue. It is unknown at this time one way or another and autopsy reports are not likely to reveal that as it has been nearly 6 months since she was found by friend, Nick Gordon who has been reported to be her husband but, there is much controversy over that idea and no legal evidence that it was the case.
Investigation into Brown’s death was said to take the route of potential foul play by Gordon and the families barred him from seeing her while in hospital, rehab, then hospice care.
Bruises on Brown’s face and front of her body, once thought to be caused by Gordon and resulting in her death in the bathtub, were ruled out when investigators attributed to a car accident Brown had been in only days before the bathtub finding.
It’s sad that Bobbi Kristina has left this earth at such a young age and in such a matching fashion to her famous mother’s death. However, truth be told, Brown was gone long before she was resuscitated and throughout this 6 months of being in hospital, rehab and hospice care. Only the most basic of life sustaining brain function remained. Her brain had suffered irreversible damage and the world had literally lost Brown on January 31, 2015, not July 26, 2015 in my personal opinion. It was only because of medical advances that her body lingered on as long as it did.
One can feel the sadness of her loss but, from what has been reported, Brown had never gotten over her famous mother’s early demise as the two were said to be inseparable.
Perhaps, Brown had long since met up with her famous mother and they are now together again. At least, that’s how I’d like to see things from my little corner of life.
