Nicki Minaj Throws A Temper Tantrum At Former Idol Judge, Steven Tyler

Don’t look now but, it seems that Nicki Minaj is showing that she’s still got some growing up and maturing to do yet.

At 29, going on 30 years of age, American Idol 2013 judge and rapper, Nicki Minaj is proving to the pubic that she’s certainly not mature nor does she possess any sort of ettiquette by fighting with co-judge, Mariah Carey and hurling infantile accusations and explicatives at former Idol Judge and Aerosmith lead singer, Steven Tyler.

Minaj, whose real name is Onika Tanya Maraj flew off in what seems to be a child-like temper tantrum, filled with her famous public ghetto-like cussings at former Idol Judge, Steven Tyler this past week.

Tyler had reportedly been disgruntled with the amount of fighting, friction and tension that has been going on in the judge’s panel and set off by Minaj.  He was expressing the shameful situation in judging antics, set off by Minaj that could potentially and likely take away attention from what should be the show’s real focus, the talent on the stage.

“I know that they’ve got something going on the judges’ panel….it shouldn’t be that, it should be just the opposite. They should have something going on, which is called camaraderie,” Tyler stated.  “They should have something going on so thick and beautiful that they can lay it over the new talent that’s trying to birth itself.”

“It needs to be birthed, not judged by entertainment factors. It needs to be judged by people that [are] honest, true, that have the ‘it’ factor.  Not the ‘it’ factor because they can fight. [What] the f**k is that all about?” Tyler continued.

Tyler went on to explain further.

“These kids, they just got out of a car from the Midwest somewhere and they’re in New York City, they’re scared to death. You’re not going to get the best out of them. … If it was Bob Dylan, Nicki Minaj would have had him sent to the cornfield,” he stated.  “Whereas, if it was Bob Dylan with us, we would have brought the best of him out, as we did with Phillip Phillips. Just saying.”

As far out there with remarks as Tyler can be at times, it seems that his thinking was in the right place.  His concerns seem to be focused on the contestants and not the judge’s table squabbles.  Afterall, this show is not supposed to be about the judges.  It’s meant to be focused on the young and fresh talent trying to come up through the ranks to find a place in the spotlight.

Minaj, however, seemingly unable to comprehend or, perhaps not caring, did a swan dive into the mess even deeper with a raunchy reactive and negative emotionally fraught set of responses on Twitter, accusing Tyler of being racist.

“Steven Tyler said I would have sent Bob Dylan to a cornfield??? Steven, you haven’t seen me judge one single solitary contestant yet! I understand you really wanted to keep your job but take that up with the producers. I haven’t done anything to you. That’s a racist comment,” she tweeted.  “You assume that I wouldn’t have liked Bob Dylan??? why? black? rapper? what? go f**k yourself and worry about yourself babe.”

Her final rant statement tore Tyler to shreds as not only a person but, also a former Idol Judge.

“When Steven 1st went on Idol he was ridiculed by his peers & fans alike. Called a sell out. So what does he do? Ridicule the next judge.”

It’s clear that Idol judges wanted ratings and this kind of controversy might just garner that for them but, the question is, will the show still hold as a talent contest or will it turn itself into a reality show for the judges?

The 2013 American Idol Season appears to be one that will either burn the show off the air waves after one last season or, draw millions in viewers to watch Minaj take pot-shots at fellow judges.  Either way, the show just won’t be what it has been with Minaj at the table.  That much is certain.

We could be watching Idol having sunk to a low-level and be amongst the last of the show.  Minaj could be the kick-start to the end and Idol execs could be kicking their own rears as Fox nixes the show totally.

The 2013 Idol Season is set to go to air on January 16, 2013.

Hold onto your hats, this is going to be a very bumpy and likely ridiculous ride.
